This article based on the Spatial Economics research tools, analysis the reform and opening up between Hong Kong and Guangdong province since the formation of the "front shop and a factory" historic patterns of cooperation and enthusiasm, and analysis of Hong Kong as a regional economic center of the Pearl River Delta in Guangdong Investment, and upgrading the industrial structure of foreign trade and other fields to play the leading role. The article analyzed the Greater Pearl River Delta regional economic space ,which has been formed circle have structure, from the early core of the Shenzhen-Hong Kong economic circle to the mid-1990s the PRD things cross-strait economic zone, and then to present the Greater Pearl River Delta (including Hong Kong and Macao) economy three-tier ring gradient promote economic development model. Empirical studies of the space-based economy based on Spatial Economics, inspected the regions of Guangdong and Hong Kong gathering space for the current situation based on measurement model for the future Greater Pearl River Delta regional economic engine of growth factors. Finally analysis the current Hong Kong-Guangdong cooperation in a number of practical problems and corresponding countermeasures.
