Study On The Structural Reform Of Chinese's Foreign Trade Supply Side From The Perspective Of Export Value Added

Recently,the economic downward pressure increased,China's foreign trade exports faced with the dilemmas,such as external demand downturn,the loss of traditional factor cost advantage,low value-added export products and trade frictions and so on.The government continued to use demand management policies including cutting interest rates,reserve rate,but turned out little effect.This paper studies the structural reform of China's foreign trade supply side from the perspective of export value-added.It expounds the theoretical basis of the structural reform of China's foreign trade supply side which based on the " supply-side economics",and the theory of export value.So clearing the relationship between the two complements.Then selecting several export-oriented industries,measuring the overall value of its exports as well as the export value of each industry to analysis China's current foreign trade supply side of the status quo on export value-added perspective.At last,the main factors influencing the added value of the export are selected,doing empirical analysis to carried out the influence degree of the whole and the sub-sectors respectively on export value-added.Then giving suggestions on promoting the structural reform of foreign trade supply side and enhancing the export value.This study has concluded that:Firstly,the current overall export value of China have a decline trend,although china has large scale manufacturing exports,but exports are mainly low-end products,or is involved in the low-end part of high-end products,the export value is still low,the third industry exports is a low level development,openness is not high,leading to the export value is not high;Secondly,from the whole point of view,the impact of long-term export added value is research funding,foreign investment,the impact of capital and labor input is getting smaller and smaller.From the each sectors,the impact of the export value of each sectors are not the same,according to the conclusions of the model can be targeted to enhance the export value of each industries.In accordance with the export value calculation and the conclusion about influence factors research,we can take measures from the following aspects:1 industry upgrading;2 expand the export chain to both ends;3 pay attention to science and technology innovation;4 pay attention to the environmental carrying capacity.
