Performance management,made by the enterprise,is the sum of management activities,which include performance plan,communication,evaluation and feedback,to achieve business goals.It was introduced into China at the end of the 20 th century.It's a process of cycle improvement.The purpose is to improve the performance of the individuals,departments and enterprises,and it has made great strides in recent years in our country.But due to the differences between management foundation and enterprise culture,the performance management cannot play its proper role in many enterprises,especially in small and medium-sized private enterprises.Scientific performance management system is a set of mature management tool,which has a unique management system and precise management process,and help to continuously improve enterprise management level.It wins deep trust from the business leaders,known as "the holy grail of enterprise management",therefore,it requires that the enterprise must work out a suitable performance management system for themselves based on the reality.In this paper,the author selects SJ Company as the research object.SJ Company,established in 2010,is a small and medium-sized private enterprises,the main business is the wheel manufacturing.The author follows the train of thought: firstly,find the problems;secondly,analyze and solve problems;thirdly,set up a brand-new performance management system for SJ Company combined with the practical situation of SJ Company and the present situation of performance management,which aims to promote the further development of the enterprise,and hope to provide some suggestions to other similar enterprises.The research content of this paper mainly includes the following three parts except the introduction and summary:Firstly,it is the summary of performance management,mainly introduces the concepts of performance,performance appraisal and performance management,and analyzes the status of performance management in enterprise management,enumerates common performance appraisal methods,and through the social investigation reveals the implementation of the status quo of our small and mediumsized private enterprises performance management.Secondly,it analyzes and studies the current performance management system of the SJ Company,mainly through high-level interviews,collecting data and internal investigations to know present situation of the performance management in the company and analyzes the reasons of formation.Finally,it's the core part of this paper,which focuses on studying the system design of the company's performance management,mainly including design principle,index design,process design and the establishment of a security system.
