Research On Impact Of The Cognitive Dimension Of Social Capital On The Performance Of Industry-University-Research Cooperation

With the pace of economic globalization is gaining momentum,Industry-University-Research Cooperation (IURC) is efficacious for enterprises, universities and research institutions' resource utilization, and IURC is significance for developing resource superiority, integration of resources, and promoting the commercialization of research findings and technical progress. Cooperation between enterprises and research institutions is proceeding in social network, so the role of social capital is particularly important. Cognitive dimension of social capital provides an important resource for IURC,analyzing the influence that cognitive dimension of social capital provides to performance of IURC has far- reaching significance.Firstly, the paper defines the IURC, social capital, the cognitive dimension of social capital and the cognitive dimension of social capital in the IURC. Then the paper defines the measurement indexes of the cognitive dimension of social capital, they are common vision,shared value, common language and shared mental model. Next, the paper puts forward theoretical assumptions about the cognitive dimension of social capital, organizational learning of IURC and performance of IURC, this is the theoretical basis of SEM. Thirdly, the paper compiles the questionnaire about the influence that cognitive dimension of social capital provides to performance of IURC, and uses the sample data to proceed SEM and proof theoretical assumptions. Finally, according to the empirical results, the paper proposes countermeasure and suggestions, such as enhancing the culture soft environmental construction, fostering trust mechanism, cultivating common cognition.
