G Company's Skilled Employee Incentive Optimization Research

In recent years, the products, technic and operating mode of manufacturing companies are getting more and more similar because of the development of global economy and the strategy adjustment of manufacturing industry, so the core competence of a company now is focusing on talent people. For manufacturing enterprises, skilled employees are the main supports of technic revolution and the decisive factors of achieving strategy goals; they are the primary resource of building core competence. Therefore, improving skilled employees' work performance through proper incentive methods has significant effect in enhancing a company's comprehensive competence.G Company is one of the earnest and biggest drill-pipe manufacturing enterprises in China which is now facing survival or extinction challenge because of the decline of global oil industry and the tough competition in drill-pipe industry. So improving skilled employees' performance in order to enhance the core competence is the most urgent demand of G Company. This paper is written based on the research of skilled employees' incentives of G Company which followed the principle: finding problems,analyzing reasons and finding solutions. Firstly, advice the background and significance of this research, define the content and methods. Secondly, the theory of employee incentive research that this paper would use. Thirdly, briefly introduce current incentive situation of skilled employees in G Company, analyze the problems and cause. Fourthly, give some suggestions to resolve the problems and also set up supporting measures for the new incentive mechanism. In the end,make a summary and expectation of this research.
