Innovation Network Quality,Potential Absorptive Capacity And Enterprises' Innovation Performance

The advancement of economic integration and the globalization of competition make the enterprise survival boundary undergo great changes.Now enterprise survival depends on not only the internal resources,and more benefit from a steady flow of external resources,which will bring new cooperation mode for the enterprise to participate in the global competition and cooperation.Meanwhile,with 'innovation' continued popularity,as well as government support for innovative research of enterprises,which promoting a national innovation boom.During the two sessions,the government's reform measures for SMEs are particularly worthy of concern,which have brought new opportunities and challenges to the development of small and medium enterprises,especially in the IT technology industry.The SMEs are increasingly becoming the main force to promote economic development in recent years.Under the social network environment,researching on the interaction between small and medium enterprises in the IT industry has a very important significance in theory and practice.At present,the majority of studies pay attention to the importance of openly networked innovation of cluster firms in the process of the knowledge transformation and performance improvement.However,we find it in the relative literature that although the existing research has studied the dimensions which affect the performance of enterprise innovation in network structure,the relative empirical studies on inherent mechanism and specific business situations of how innovation network quality influences innovation performance are still rarely.Therefore,based on the previous research results,this thesis focuses upon the basic research question of "how innovation network influences innovation performance" and establishes the theoretical model of "network quality-potential absorptive capacity-innovation performance".Combination of management,economics,sociology,statistics,and other fields of knowledge,takes a study by using methods of literature analysis,questionnaire investigation and statistical analysis which in details including factor analysis,correlation analysis and path analysis and so on.The data is obtained through conducting a questionnaire survey of SMEs in Xi' an IT technology industry.The main results are shown below by using SPSS statistical and SEM structural equation model analysis:(1)Innovation network quality and potential absorptive capacity have a significantly positive impact on innovation performance.(2)Knowledge acquisition and digestion plays mediation role part in the relationship between Innovation network quality and innovation performance.Specifically,Knowledge digestion ability plays an intermediary role in the process of the interaction between the relational strength and the innovation performance;Knowledge acquisition plays an intermediary role in the process of the relationship between the relational quality and innovation performance.The potential absorptive capacity acts as a bridge between the network quality and innovation performance,and its internal mechanism is analyzed according to the different situation of the enterprises.In this study,we take the small and medium sized IT enterprises in Xi'an as the analysis object,put forward the relevant theoretical hypothesis and establish the structural equation model for empirical test.However,the network environment is uncertain and relative theories are complicate.In addition,the author's research ability is limited.Therefore,the study also has many deficiencies which need further improvement in a follow-up study.
