Research On The Influence Of Open Innovation On Product Quality Competitiveness Of Manufacturing Enterprises

Abstract/Summary:
At present,China has become the world’s largest manufacturing industry.From the perspective of total volume,China has been maintaining the position of the champion of total output value of manufacturing industry since 2010.However,from the perspective of overall competitiveness of manufacturing industry,there is still a big gap between China’s manufacturing competitiveness ranking and the current major innovative countries.In the new era,the closed innovation mode is the Made in China 2025 and the rapid development of information technology under the background of the exhibition,the fierce competition environment will be eliminated gradually.Open innovation draws innovative resources such as technology and information,and plays an important role in improving the efficiency of technology market,reducing the cost of enterprises and improving the competitiveness of product quality.Now,scholars mainly study the relationship between open innovation and enterprise innovation performance,but short of research on the impact of open innovation on enterprise product quality competitiveness.In this paper,the manufacturing enterprises are taken as the sample.Based on the induction and analysis of the relevant theoretical research,the relationship model of open innovation to the product quality competitiveness of manufacturing enterprises is constructed and the research hypothesis is put forward.The questionnaire is designed by referring to the previous scholars’ research.After the questionnaire is distributed and recycled,the sample data is analyzed by using the software Spss24.0,and then the study build a structural equation model for empirical research by using the software Amos24.0.Finally,the empirical results are obtained and relevant improvement measures are proposed according to the research conclusions.The results show that the inward open innovation(ETA)has a positive correlation with the product quality competitiveness of manufacturing enterprises,while the outward open innovation(ETE)has a negative correlation with the product quality competitiveness of manufacturing enterprises;the inward open innovation(ETA)has a significant positive impact on the actual absorption capacity of manufacturing enterprises,and the outward open innovation(ETE)of manufacturing enterprises has a significant positive impact on the actual absorption capacity.The absorptive capacity has a significant positive correlation,the actual absorptive capacity has a positive correlation on the product quality competitiveness of manufacturing enterprises,there is a significant positive correlation between the manufacturing enterprises’ inward open innovation(ETA)and the potential absorptive capacity,there is also a positive correlation between the potential absorptive capacity and the product quality competitiveness of manufacturing enterprises,and the two dimensions of absorptive capacity are open type innovation plays an intermediary role in the influence of product quality competitiveness of manufacturing enterprises.Therefore,it is suggested that manufacturing enterprises should actively seek the innovative way of "bringing in" and "going out",pay attention to the absorption of knowledge and the synergy of open innovation.
