Promotion Of R&D Internationalization In China

Lots of scholars in the international economy sector and scientific sector have held the view that the globalization of the economic and social development is the foundation and motivation for the globalization of science and technology which has brought different economic and social effects for all the countries.It is less an opportunity and more a challenge.Based on the huge role of science and technology globalization in promoting the economy,all countries want to take the lead in this development process and strive to improve themselves.As the most important scientific and technological activities,Research and Development(R&D)has been expanded in depth and breadth with more perfect organization,more specialized division of work and more presentation of market characteristics under the impetus of economic,scientific and technological globalization.Globalization of science and technology has created a good learning environment for China to establish a market-oriented science and technology system to serve the economic development.The development of R&D internationalization has a great impact on the allocation of Chinese science and technology resource and the organization of technological activities.China should meet the challenges and seize the opportunity in the big environment.In such an international development trend,vigorously developing our own R&D internationalization and introducing the foreign direct investment(FDI)can greatly accelerate the delivery of the international high-end science and technology information to China and the exchange of high-tech information.It can also make the advanced overseas technology get better digested and absorbed,optimize the industrial structure in our country and promote the cultivation of science and technology persons and the reform of scientific research management system.It has great practical significance to promote the overall development of science and technology innovation and achieve the transformation from a scientific and technological power to a science and technology powerhouse.The thesis has carried out the study in such three aspects as the formation of R&D activities,R&D industry development and China's development of R&D activities.First,based on the relevant research at home and abroad,the thesis has analyzed the content and causes of R&D and R&D internationalization as well as its size,main characteristics and influencing factors.Second,the thesis has summarized the developing trend and major issues of R&D internationalization.Combining the basic national conditions in China,the thesis has studied the status quo of R&D Internationalization development and had SWOT analysis.Base on this,the thesis finally has put forward the general idea,strategic points and specific suggestions for the development of R&D internationalization in China.Unlike the previous studies that only had an comparative analysis of China and another developed country,this thesis has focused more on the scientific comparison and has taken China into the world scope to make a comparative analysis,which has avoided the simple comparison.It can make a full analysis and get an more valuable conclusion.Besides,the data and facts for the comparative study are true and reliable from authoritative international organizations and the official national statistics of all countries.In this study,the author is trying to make analytic demonstration with real cases,make an explanation and come to an conclusion based on the objective data.
