With the development of science and technology,especially the development of Internet technology,the pace of upgrading of products and users of the product's personalized needs is more difficult to meet,the market competition of enterprise has become increasingly fierce,product innovation has become the core of enterprise competition,enterprises are facing great difficulties in product innovation:(1)the cycle of product innovation is greatly shortened,(2)the user's need is hard to control,(3)R& D costs and customer satisfaction is difficult to balance,(4)innovation and risk avoidance contradiction is difficult to solve,which makes the enterprise More and more emphasis on the development and utilization of external resources;user innovation theory and application of enterprise product innovation problems to provide an effective solution,and the rapid development of Internet technology for users to carry out innovative activities to provide a good way and an effective platform,making the user innovation become a reality.However,how to effectively participate in the process of enterprise product innovation is a major problem in enterprise innovation management,but also the key to improve the core competitiveness of enterprises.Based on the model of product innovation process of six generations,this paper constructs the user innovation process of the product innovation process,and divides the process of users participate in enterprise product innovation into the early,middle and late stages.Including the identification of innovative users to market positioning,innovation platform to build,product design,product development,product testing,product release,product sales and sales,after-sales service and user feedback and other eight links,And take XIAOMI mobile phone company which has used user innovation theory successfully as a typical case.combined with the questionnaire,we researched on the process of users how to participate in XIAOMI enterprise product innovation.Detail analyzed the users' participation in enterprise product innovation and then reveal the process of the enterprise how to achieve the value.The research achievement that:(1)The development of innovation platform is the necessary platform for enterprises to realize user value.(2)Users to participate in enterprise product innovation can reduce business R & D and sales costs;(3)the breadth and depth of user participation and user satisfaction with the product are related.Finally,this paper analyzes the reasons for the poor sales of XIAOMI mobile phone company in 2016 and put forward put forward effective countermeasures: the first,accurate market positioning;the second,to enhance the breadth and depth of participation of innovative users;the third,to strengthen the production supply chain management;the last,to expand sales channels and improve after-sales service.
