Research On The Development Of Pension Service Industry In Shandong Province Under The Background Of Population Aging

The aging process of the country gradually accelerated,since China officially entered the aging society in 2000.Relying solely on the traditional family pension model is not enough to achieve the elder care,faced with the severe situation of population aging.In order to realize a systematic solution of current social problem for elder care,we can not only satisfy with simplest material support,but start from the actual needs of the old people,providing different services of spiritual comfort,living care,and health care and so on.We must construct a systematic pension service industry to achieve this goal.In terms of the current actual situation of the development of pension service industry,it can not meet the growing demand for pension service,with single type of pension service,small scale of pension institutions,low degree of market operation,and unbalanced development between urban and rural,which are so prevalent in the cities and counties of Shandong Province.It is an inevitable choice for the government to realize the harmonious development of economy and society,protect and improve people's livelihood,and actively respond to the challenges of aging,by promoting the whole society to pay more attention to the problems caused by population aging,and taking active measures to promote the development of pension service,and conforming to the more diversified needs of the majority of the elder.Mencius said," Love other's elder as your's." This paper takes the hometown of Mencius-Zoucheng City in Shandong Province as an example,adopts the method of field research and literature research,to summarize measures of province's comprehensive reform pilot work on pension service in the city,in recent years.At the same time,explores how to more actively and effectively respond to population aging and the development of pension service,with the reference to the experience of developed countries and the characteristics of social economy and culture in Zoucheng,in order to enhance the sense of happiness and acquisition for the elder in Zoucheng and provide a useful reference for other areas.
