Research On Improving Performance Management System Of A Property Insurance Company

With the great increasing of the residents' incomes and enhancement on Chinese insurance consciousness,insurance industry of China has made considerable development.Now,a pluralistic insurance market full of competition has been formed including state-owned Business insurance companies and foreign companies.For fiercely competitive environment of the market,the domestic insurance enterprises are facing a great challenge.In the future,Talents is the key to these companies' success.The Performance Management as an important part of Enterprise Management,if effectively executed,would eventually make a positive,energetic working team,and ultimately be helpful to achieving all these companies' goals.A Property Insurance Company,which is one of the third level branches of a large domestic insurance agency,has inherited good genes of its parent company in terms of performance management.While,due to the development of regional economy level and the impact of the quality of personnel,the company still has many troubles in the performance management system.In this paper,through the analysis and research on the Performance Management System of A Property Insurance Company,I'd like to talk about the three aspects of the matter.Firstly,we focus on application of the KPI index,target management in the practice of enterprise management.Secondly,we need to find out the disadvantages of Performance Management System of A Property Insurance Company by observing the five aspects of the system including Performance Formulation,Performance Communication,Performance Appraisal,application of Performance results and improving Performance.Thirdly,at the end of this paper,we will talk about how to improve Performance of the company.The Performance Management System of the company has reasonable structure and clear logic.The creative ‘SCC' standard and ‘four-five' principles are worth learning.This paper provides a basis for improvement of the company's performance management system through the establishment or optimization of some performance management processes of A Company,strengthening of its performance management system guarantee and the optimization of some indicators for KPI.
