Researching On The Phenomena, Strategies Of Shrinking Cities In The Northeast Of China

In the context of China’s high-speed urbanization,the growthist paradigm concept prevails,and urban shrinking is covered by economic growth.Northeast China as China’s old industrial base,is an important part of China’s economy,China is an important hub of Northeast Asia,has an important strategic position.Therefore,the healthy development of the urban agglomeration in the northeastern region is of vital importance to the Chinese economy.With the transition of resources,the industrial structure of the aging northeastern region,by the product surplus,the high level of population loss,exacerbated the northeastern region of the industrial base of the revival of the difficulty.This paper studies the contraction of the northeastern region from the perspective of urban identification,type division,influencing factors and international experience.The specific research contents are as follows:First of all,the paper through the northeast of contraction of cities(including prefecture-level cities and county-level city)to identify and type.The types of zoning mainly use the POI data of all kinds of facilities to classify the level of facilities service in the urban area to form three types: type Ⅰ,type Ⅱ and type Ⅲ;Secondly,the thesis discusses the mechanism of urban shrinkage from the three aspects of demography,urban land and urban industry in the northeast of China.The study suggests that the scale has a positive correlation with the population loss and does not directly lead to urban shrinking.And the aging of urban industrial structure and transformation is the root cause of urban contraction;Thirdly,the paper studies the urban space problem,summarizes the four aspects from the residential area,the infrastructure,the urban landscape and the urban land use,and thinks that there is vacancy the decline of facilities maintenance and service level in the urban residential area.The problem of urban infrastructure,the existence of facilities aging,the use of inefficient and facilities maintenance and other issues;in the urban landscape,including the original landscape decline,texture digestion and other issues;in land use,there are abandoned land and idle Land and other issues;In addition,the paper analyzes the western strategies of coping with urban shrinkage,summarizes the practical experience of typical cities in different countries,and clarifies the experience of the cities in the northeastern region.It draws up the city from the aspects of development concept,planning control and industrial optimization and spatial management.Coping strategies.In the case study,this paper chooses Wafangdian City as a research case,and analyzes the current shrinkage and future development strategy of Wafangdian from the aspects of shrinkage recognition,mechanism analysis and coping strategies.The last chapter summarizes the paper,pointing out that the lack of research and future research need to explore the topic in depth.
