Analysis For The Sub-Regional Economic Cooperation Of The Greater Tumen River Area Based On The SWOT Analysis

In the 21 st century,economic globalization and regional economic integration become more and more obvious and also become the main trend of international economic development.The European Union appeared in Europe,the North America Free Trade Area appeared in America,the Greater Mekong Sub-regional Cooperation appeared in Southeast Asia.These forms of development of regional economic integration make Northeast Asian countries realize that they should establish a regional integration as an international cooperation that can conducive the economic development in Northeast Asia Area,promote the participation of countries in the Greater Tumen River Sub-region jointly develop,and promote the Greater Tumen River Sub-regional economic integration.The countries of the Greater Tumen River Sub-region economic cooperation including China,Mongolia,North Korea,South Korea,Russia and Japan,it is the most potential economic cooperation in the Northeast Asian region.At this stage,each of countries in the sub-region takes the economic development strategy,hopes that through cooperation constantly stimulate economic development to promote industrial innovation and lay the foundation for the development of cooperation in the Greater Tumen River Sub-regional economic integration.The international environment is complicated and changeable,and the relevant national strategies are constantly adjusted,the Greater River Sub-region is in the development of multi-game and multi-game among developing.This paper analysis the research results of the regional economic cooperation of the domestic and foreign great scholars in more than twenty years,which from aspects of the relationship between the national policy,foreign trade,geographical advantage and economic cooperation,and then bases on the regional economic integration theory,location theory and the boundary effect theory,we analyze the present situation of the regional economic cooperation in the area of economic and trade,investment and energy of the Greater Tumen River Sub-regional countries.Find out the advantages and disadvantages of the Greater River Sub-regional economic cooperation,in according to the change of current trade relations and the adjustment of the national strategy in the sub-region,then identify opportunities and challenges in the Greater Tumen River Sub-region economic cooperation.After we conduct SWOT analysis of the Greater Tumen River Sub-region economic cooperation,we conclude that,the Greater Tumen Sub-region Economic Cooperation has clear advantages in the aspects of geographical environment,socio-cultural,economic and trade cooperation,energy cooperation as well as international organizations to support the status quo.The disadvantages are mainly embodied in the complex geopolitical environment,the obvious gap between the economic openness of each country,the shortage of funds for cooperative development,the traffic is not smooth,and the negotiation mechanism is not perfect,etc.All countries should seize the current favorable strategic opportunities,for example “The Belt and Road”,“Prairie Road” and “Eurasian Initiative”,and also seize the opportunities of bilateral or multilateral good economic and trade cooperation to overcome the disadvantage caused by obstacles,in order to in a better state of cooperation to face threats that the United States propose the Asia Pacific economic rebalancing strategy based on TPP,and according to the conclusion of SWOT analysis,we provide the corresponding policy recommendations of the Greater Tumen River Sub-regional economic cooperation.
