Under the environment of economic globalization,China has accelerated the economic reform and opening up,a large number of strong foreign banks settled in China's banking industry.At the same time,facing the domestic banks competitive pressures and their own strength constraints,China's commercial Banks urgently need to enhance their core competitiveness,while the traditional performance management system mainly uses financial indicators to measure its operating performance,ignoring the non-financial indicators' important influence on the bank's future development strategy.It has been unable to help commercial banks to improve business management level to cope with the complex and volatile domestic and international economic situation.Commercial banks urgently need to establish a scientific and effective performance management system.Balanced score card uses the overall strategic objectives of the enterprise as a guide,the performance management as the core.Both use the financial dimensions of the indicators,so that enterprises can clearly understand their financial situation,but also selected the customer,internal processes,learning and growth dimensions indicators.Layer subdivision the enterprise's strategic objectives,implement to the specific work to overcome the over-emphasis on short-term results,ignore the achievement of the long-term goal and sustainable development limitations.It can help commercial banks to more effectively perform performance management.After describing the performance management,the performance management of commercial banks and the theory of Balanced score card,this paper compares the methods of performance management between the Balanced score card and traditional commercial banks and discovers the defects of traditional performance management methods.Then,based on the brief introduction of commercial bank S,this paper analyzes the status quo of performance management and the existing problems,and points out the necessity and feasibility of S commercial banks introduce this strategy-oriented balanced score card as an advanced performance management tools.Then,the paper designs the performance management system of S commercial bank from four dimensions: finance,customer,internal process,learning and growth.After defining the key performance indicators,the weight of each index is determined by Analytic Hierarchy Process.Then we get the performance management system based on the Balanced score card of Commercial bank S and carry out applied research,Combined with its actual situation,put forward four suggestions to help commercial bank S to apply this methods smoothly.At the end of the article,this paper summarizes the research and puts forward the prospect of the research and the future development of the Balanced score card.This paper mainly uses the Balanced score card as the model,uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process to design the index weight,constructs the performance management system suitable for the commercial bank S,provides an effective method for improving the traditional performance management.The combination of the actual situation of commercial bank S is of great significance to the performance management of the same kind of commercial banks in China.
