Research On The Reliability Influencing Factors For Coal Mining Operator's Situation Awareness

The operator's unsafe behaviors are the main cause of accidents in coalmines.Existing researches have shown that situation awareness(SA)error is not only the foundational reason causing to unsafe behavior,but also the key factor that affect decision quality and operator's safety performance.Consequently,it is of great significance to study the SA reliability of coal mining operator,which can provide the basis for reducing the occurrence of coal mining operator's unsafe behavior.Besides,the results of the research can provide some insight to formulate effective measures to reduce safety accidents in coalmines.Taking coal mining operator as the object,Bayesian network theory is used to explore the factors influencing of SA in this paper.Specifically,based on the operation procedures of coal mining worker,the main factors influencing the perception,comprehension and projection are analyzed from the four aspects as environment,organization,task and personal.Then,the verbal-numerical probability method is used to determine the parameters of the proposed Bayesian network model of perception,comprehension and projection.Consequently,the mutual information values are used to test the independence of the proposed parameters.Secondly,to obtain the main factors of influencing situation awareness from the perception,comprehension and projection,we analyze the three Bayesian network models respectively utilizing causal and diagnosis reasoning technology.Finally,by use of the reliability vector method of serial system,analyze how much these main factors influence the safety probability and failure probability of the SA reliability,thereby the deep main factors influencing the SA reliability of the coal mining operators are reasoned out.The results show that the main factors influencing the perception are training,the natural environment,equipment reliability,personal qualities and experience,and attention;training and mental model are the major factors influencing comprehension;mental model and personal qualities and experience infect the projection most.Besides,the most important factor that impacts the SA reliability of coal mining operators is mental model,then personal qualities and experience,and training.
