The Social Impact And Its Assessment Variable System In Large-scale Park: An Empirical Research Of China Medical City

As an important carrier of China's economic growth,the park contributes more and more to promoting industrial agglomeration and promoting the process of urbanization.Because of the large amount of investment,the big construction area and the long operation cycle,we shouldn't ignore the social impact of the park.However,the evaluation of the park is concerned with the economic and environmental impact assessment,while ignoring the social impact assessment.At the same time,in the domestic limited studies on the social impact evaluation of the park,most of them are qualitative analysis of the social impact on specific projects,a set of systematic social impact assessment variable system in large-scale park is needed.Based on the project shock theory and community theory,this paper analyzed the impact of large-scale park on aboriginal families,aboriginal survival lifestyle and condition,community evolution and community infrastructure changes.In order to verify the hypothesis,this paper selected China Medical City as case,using the method of literature research,face-to-face interviews and questionnaire survey,and compare the status of experimental and control communities with regards to the four elements.The results showed that:1)the large-scale park breaks the original life trace of village pattern,accelerates the trend of family miniaturization and core;during the construction of the park,a large number of land-lost farmers have been passively urbanized,bringing about the change of family function and family social relations;2)park construction involves land expropriation,demolishment,migration and community reconstruction,which cause radical change of the aborigines' employment status and living way,and affected consumption and leisure behavior;3)with the construction of the park,land-lost farmers suffer interest loss,external population grows,in addition,culture and organizations of the community are affected;4)infrastructure is the foundation for the survival and development of the park,the government invests a lot of money for the improvement of the infrastructure,mainly displays in the road,traffic,commerce,culture entertainment and fitness sports facilities,etc.Based on the variable system proposed by the previous study,in allusion to characteristics of the social impact of large-scale parks,this paper obtained an assessment variable system which is suitable for our country.This study made up for the deficiency in the domestic social evaluation of large scale park,and it provided some referenced value on social impact assessment of large-scale park in future.
