Research On The Development Strategy Of Agritourism In Yunxiao's Historical And Cultural Villages

Yunxiao County is the ancient capital of Zhangzhou,and the birthplace of the culture "Pioneer of Zhangzhou".At present,three villages in Yunxiao including Xilin Village,Caipu Village and Yangxia Village are rated as historical and cultural villages at province level.It is insufficient to depend simply on the power of government to develop historical and cultural villages;other means should be used all together to achieve sustainable development.Therefore,based on Industry Convergence Theory,Marx's Leisure Thoughts,Theory of the Experience Economy,and Sustainable Development Theory,this paper attempts to explore the strategy development of agritourism considered as an effective way in Yunxiao's historical and cultural villages by methods of literature review,interviews,AHP(analytic hierarchy process),Delphi method and so on.This paper first focuses on important historical heritages in the historical and cultural villages of Yunxiao,analysing current situation of protection and development of these heritages,meanwhile points out existing problems of protection and development of these village including villagers' low awareness of protection,resource integration remains to be improved,economic backwardness,shortage of funds for protection and renovation,inadequate protection,economic backwardness,serious aging phenomenon,and lack of scientific instruction in protection and development.Secondly,the thesis analyses the necessity of developing leisure agriculture in these historical and cultural villages in Yunxiao,and its feasibility in terms of historical and cultural value,recreation value,conditions of local facilities,economic and social conditions and so on.It is proved developing agritourism in historical and cultural village yunxiao is feasible.Then,an evaluation model is established to evaluate the development potential of leisure agriculture by selecting condition of resources,condition of local facilities and economic and social conditions as evaluation indexes.Result shows that Yunxiao's historical and cultural villages have a great potential in developing agritourism.Finally,according to concrete analysis of the evaluation report and considering the current problems in the protection and development of Yunxiao's historic and cultural villages,the research tries to put forward development strategies of leisure agriculture for Yunxiao's historical and cultural villages,that is protecting these historical and cultural villages,making full use of resources,strengthening infrastructure construction,introducing favorable policies,encouraging young people to return home for contribution,making talented people in the village useful,introducing professionals and encouraging villagers to get involved.
