Study On The Strategy Of The Leisure Agriculture Development In Huotian Town Yunxiao County

With Development of green and environmentally-protective third industry--thetourism industry, especially development of recreational agriculture is gaining moreand more attention of the nation and the people, and gradually becomes a neweconomic growth point. To develop recreational agriculture is an important measureto increase farmers’ income, to improve the comprehensive agricultural productioncapacity, and is another way to solve "three agricultural problems".By taking SWOTanalytical approach, this thesis analyzes the advantages and disadvantages, theopportunities and challenges from external environment of developing recreationalagriculture in Huotian Town of Yunxiao County.Through investigation, the authorfinds out that there are advantages including favorable traffic condition, superiorecological resources, distinctive cultural heritage and rapid development of economyand society. There are also disadvantages such as unsophisticated industrial system,inadequate basic infrastructure, lack of practical measures, arduous new countrysideconstruction task and lack of professional management talents. These realisticproblems restrict the development of recreational agriculture.Besides,althoughrecreational agriculture of Huotian Town faces fierce competition from sameindustry in Fujian and tourism industry in surrounding areas, with the favorableelements such as good policy environment, tourism industry becoming one of thethree troika of Yunxiao economy, change of people’s recreational mode, andincrease of residents’ consumption ability, to developre creational agriculture hasvaluable opportunities.Through comprehensive comparison and analysis of internaland external elements, the author believes the SO strategy should be taken indeveloping recreational agriculture in Huotian Town.Then this thesis systematically analyzes the development process of recreationalagriculture in Guzhu Village of Changxing County, Zhejiang Province,and finds outthat in order to develop recreational agriculture，the key point is government’scorrect guidance, the main body is the farmers’private capital, the path is normative improvement, the guarantee is high quality service, and the basis is serving thepeople through developing tourism.Finally, on the basis of case research and SWOT analysis, this thesis putsforward the strategy and industrial layout for Huotian Town to develop recreationalagriculture, and proposes advices on strengthening organizational leadership andinstitutional innovation, strengthening policy guidance, making scientific andreasonable planning, speeding up the supporting infrastructure, cracking capitalbottleneck, strengthening talent support and regional cooperation, as well asestablishing farmers’ interests safeguard mechanism.
