In recent years,along with the rising of enviromental protection consciousness,Light Emitting Diode----which with the large enviromental advantage such as high luminous efficiency,small,long life,without mercury etc.,----is widely developped and used in various area.Big foreign companys(Incuding Nichia,Osram,Cree)occupied the major market shares from LED dice manufacture to LED maker,because of they developed the LED early and have the patent.Though the market is still developing,but the LED makers' competition is become very serious.The LED industry is facing reshuffling.That's why I try to write this article.It contains two parts.The one I will introduce the worldwide LED market situation,for the second base on the A company to analysis the advantage and weakness to find thecore competitiveness,then I will advise the suitable strategy for the A company.PEST and Porter's 5 forces model will be used for external analysis firstly to find opportunities and threatens of macro environment.In the next step,value chain will be used for internal analysis to find strengths and weaknesses of the company,furthermore,it will help to dig out the core competence of A company.After that,SWOT analysis will be done then the decision of final competitive strategy will be made based on chosen SWOT strategy.Finally the paper puts forward some possible barriers then proposes safeguard measures for them.Though competitive strategy for a detailed business in A company is discussed in this paper,other companies can also find references in this paper about the way to think and the procedures for analysis.
