Products,costs and sales skills were always considered as the key elements in the competition of the commercial banks in the past,while financial homogenization,every bank in the market provides the similar financial products,makes the traditional mode difficult to succeed in the modern business environment.With the development of internet,information technology provides several more efficient substitutes.As a result,traditional bank mode loses a significant portion of its customers.Since the 20 th century,operation management has experienced some significant improvement.As the bank operation system determines the efficiency in marketing,operation costs,and risk management,more and more banks have considered it as the most important competitiveness.Nowadays,commercial banks are facing fierce competition.Only if they draw their attention on the customer rather than the product can they survive and succeed.In reality,several large commercial banks began to innovate in the late 90 s,and achieved their target in relieving the counter pressure,reducing the operation costs,and enhancing the risk management.Because of the lagging in innovation,C-City rural commercial bank is still experiencing the problem that its operation system could not satisfy the needs of customers.Realizing this situation,it started the project to remodel its operation process,and has finished the first stage in the beginning of 2017.Built on theoretical researches of the operation process,this essay analyzes the reengineering project of C-City rural commercial bank.The first step is to extract the problems in the operation system from the practice,which ensures the necessity of the project.Then,together with its operation plan,this article describes the framework of the project.In the next level,it tries to figure out the key element to succeed by setting evaluation indicators like efficiency,quality,and costs.Once the key element of stage one has been noticed the project could be better optimized by just adding the missing key elements to the model,which turns out to be far more efficient.The final step is to formulate the second stage project based on the optimizing.With all the analysis above,this essay aims at providing some reference in operation process remodeling and continual improvement.
