Evaluation Of Ice And Snow Tourism Resources Based On TCM And CVM

Tourism resources are the foundation and carrier of tourism activities,and also the necessary conditions for the development of tourism.One of the main trends in the development of tourism is the transformation from a single sightseeing tourism to a holiday and a variety of special tourism,such as sports tourism.The ice and snow tourism resources belong to the cold area tourism resources,mainly including the ice and snow and summer resort tourism activities.As an important part of sports tourism,ice and snow tourism has been paid more and more attention.In order to develop and plan the ice and snow tourism resources reasonably,and realize the sustainable utilization of the ice snow tourism resources,it is necessary to define the value composition of ice and snow tourism resources,and to evaluate their value reasonably.Through combing the domestic and foreign literature,domestic scholars to study the ice and snow tourism resources value is less,the existing research mostly stay in the development and utilization of ice and snow tourism resources,research on the ice and snow tourism resources value is less.There are many researches on the value of tourism resources in foreign countries,and the method is feasible,but it is rare to evaluate the value of ice and snow tourism resources.In view of this,this paper analyzes the domestic and foreign scholars’ research,and probes into the value evaluation method of the ice and snow tourism resources in the tourism resources.First,according to the classification standards on the total value of tourism resources from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Institute of environment and Development Research Group,the value of ice and snow tourism resources can be divided into two types:use value and non use value.Then,the paper puts forward different methods of value evaluation for two types of value:for the use of value,use the internationally popular method——travel cost method(TCM)to assess;for the non use value,because there is no suitable evaluation method,so the conditional value method(CVM),which is more mature abroad,is applied to the evaluation of the non use value of ice and snow tourism resources.At last the two assessment methods are applied to evaluate the Yabuli ski resort,to verify the feasibility of these two methods,and on the basis of summing up,put forward some suggestions to improve the resources management of Yabuli.
