is based on the full text of the Chinese patent license publication patent database,the invention of patent licensing as a city of knowledge output,in accordance with the prefecture-level city name to identify the Chinese prefecture-level city from 1999-2014 Year annual patent licensing traffic,and to 1999 as the base period,the use of perpetual inventory method to calculate the annual level of the city's knowledge of the stock.The results show that the knowledge of the stock is not only in quantity or growth rate,in the country are heterogeneous.Through our calculations,we found that the stock of knowledge is concentrated in the eastern coastal cities,especially the Bohai Sea,the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta and the central cities within the provinces.The knowledge stocks in the central region are mainly distributed in the provinces and cities Relatively developed areas of the economy;the western region due to data constraints,the law is not obvious.Secondly,according to the relevant ratio of the employment rate of each city in different cities,the specialization and diversification index are constructed on the basis of predecessors,and the statal 3 is used to plot the professional and diversified distribution of China's prefecture-level cities.It is found that the regions with higher diversification index are mainly distributed in the eastern coastal cities,and the areas with high specialization index are mainly distributed in the central and western regions,which is consistent with our intuitive experience.Because the eastern region of economic development,has formed a relatively complete industrial system,industrial development is relatively more balanced,and the central and western regions due to conditions,can only develop some specific.industries,which will lead to the central and western regions of the city Professional index is relatively high,the eastern region of the city's diversification index higher.Finally,the knowledge stock and specialization and diversification index are introduced into the knowledge production,and the influence of the current industrial structure arrangement on the knowledge production in our country is tested empirically.The results show that there is a positive relationship between specialization and knowledge production in the whole sample regression.There is no obvious relationship between diversification and knowledge output.Knowledge stock has a significant effect on the production of knowledge,the greater the knowledge stock,the greater the impact on knowledge production.In the regional regression analysis,the knowledge production and specialization and diversification of the eastern,central and western regions are the same as the whole sample,and the knowledge stock is heterogeneous.In addition,according to the regression results,in the whole sample and the regional regression,China's real economy is more support for the Jones type of production function,that is,China's knowledge output does not exist in the scale effect.At the end of the article,the robustness of the knowledge production function is tested by using the knowledge stock under different depreciation rate and the maximum specialization index,which proves the robustness of the results.At the same time,the corresponding policy suggestions are put forward according to the results obtained in this paper.
