Company Y is huge sole proprietorship that researches,designs,develops,and produces textile sporting goods.Their current production management is unable to meet the quick market demand changes and increased human resource costs.For example,they usually solve the productivity insufficiency issue by numbers of workers and seemingly introduce 5S to their administration,but these do not improve their efficiency.Therefore,they are actively trying to better their production management mode and imitate Lean Production management mode,one of management indexes today.The purpose of this mode is to eliminate waste and lean site management,two main concerns in a business administration,so that an enterprise can increase its own competitiveness in such a fast economy change.This dissertation reviewed literatures regarding lean production and logistics at first and researched Company Y.Then,we realized it is fundamental and crucial to mange its sit well in a business administration.For now,the management of Company Y does not correspond with the market requirement;hence,we deeply explored and analyzed its present manufacturing management,including production line,logistics process,site environment…etc.We built a Conveyor Project Group to discuss those issues we found and thought up methods to resolve them.The core of this study is to improve production line logistics by using the visual management and the assembly line layout to be Production Line Balance.At last,it proposes the simulated introduction of assembly line as improvement and comes up with a few suggestions as well.
