Study On Trade Facilitation Between China And Central Asia Under The Background Of The New Silk Road

2013,Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed the construction of the new Silk Road Economic Zone initiative in Central Asia,this initiative has been supported by Central Asian countries."The new Silk Road Economic Belt" involves a number of countries and regions,including the five Central Asian countries.At the same time,with the development of the Shanghai cooperation organization and the accelerated process of regional economic integration,China's relations with the five Central Asian countries are also increasing.China and Central Asia have good geographical advantages and cultural advantages,the economic structure is complementary,and the economic development strategy and diplomatic security strategy are more fit.In recent years,China and Central Asian countries have developed rapidly in trade,but there are also some problems.In order to reduce barriers to cooperation and reduce trade costs,we must actively promote trade facilitation between China and Central Asian countries.Under the background of the new Silk Road Economic Zone,this paper discusses the trade facilitation between China and Central Asian countries.This paper studies the specific trade situation Chinese and Central Asian countries in trade cooperation in general and China and Central Asian countries in recent years,analyzes the basic situation of Chinese and Central Asian countries in trade facilitation.The trade facilitation as the research subject,based on the construction of the SCO,the Trade Facilitation Index system,and based on the gravity model,GDP,population,distance and the level of trade facilitation as research target,empirical analysis of their impact on trade flows.The empirical results show that the level of trade facilitation plays a role in promoting trade flows;In addition,the size of the economy,population,distance will have an impact on trade flows.And then analyzes the Chinese and Central Asian countries to promote trade facilitation in the process of the existing problems and favorable conditions,and finally on how to better promote trade facilitation Chinese and Central Asian countries put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions,to strengthen political mutual trust,cultural differences,and face the reality to play the regional advantages of Xinjiang,strengthen cultural exchanges,to build Chinese an efficient logistics information network in central Asia.
