The Research On Potential Of Thai's Durian Export To China

As one of the largest agricultural country in Southeast Asia,the export of agricultural products is an important economic pillar in Thailand,especially in tropical fruit,the total fruit exports to Thailand each year to more than $1 billion,a variety of fruit of Thailand welcomed by consumers at home and abroad.Durian is one of the important economic crops in Thailand,widely cultivated in all parts of the country,the planting area of durian is increasing,and the output of per unit area is on the increase,exports are also on the increase.Durian is mainly grown in the east and south of Thailand,such as,Nonthaburi Uttaradit Province,and Srisaket Province,etc.Thailand durian export market mainly concentrated in Asian countries and regions,such as: China,China Hong Kong special administrative region and Taiwan province of China,Malaysia and Singapore,etc.In addition to the Asian region,there are also European and European markets such as North America and Australia.As one of the Asian specialty fruit,durian's native to the tropical rain forest in Malaysia,spread to each region after planting,such as: Borneo island,Indonesia,the Philippines,Thailand,Burma and Sri Lanka.Durian has its own unique taste,mixed with volatile matter and sulfur,is a kind of high sugar content,fruit,rich in sulfur and fat so unfavorable feed more patients with diabetes.Durian unique appearance,has a thick skin,with sharp spines,and with a unique smell and sweet taste,get the favour of broad consumer,and rich in nutrition,known as "the king of fruits".Chinese consumers love durian,especially Thai durian.Since 2010,China has been the most important durian market in Thailand,where demand is high and large quantities of fruit are still available.Durian exports to China's main problem is the quality,especially soft durian,present a tendency of rising shipping costs in addition to this,such problems as lack of container to adjust the temperature to ensure the quality.
