The Effect Of Repeated Cooperation Among Collaboration R&D Network Members On Enterprise Ambidextrous Innovation

With the advent of the knowledge economy era,technology development is presenting the feature of complexity,fusion,and fast iteration.How to promote technical innovation to obtain and maintain a sustainable competitive advantage is becoming an important development issue of high-tech enterprises.In this case,More and more enterprises gradually realize that participation in Collaboration R&D Network is an effective weapon to obtain social capital,reduce the cost of innovation,improve efficiency and maintain competitive advantage,but there have inconsistent remarks about the repeated cooperative between enterprise and Collaboration R&D Network members on the impact of technological innovation,and scholars on the research of this topic is relatively less.This paper analyzes the effect of repeated cooperation among Collaboration R&D Network members on ambidextrous innovation and the moderating role of technical capability and environmental turbulence through literature review and theoretical analysis.Based on the unbalanced panel data of 119 listed corporations during 2004?2013 in manufacturing industry,this paper uses negative binomial regression model carry out empirically tests.The results show that repeated cooperation has an inverted U-shaped relationship with firm's exploitative innovation and exploratory innovation;the enhancement of the repeated cooperation will firstly inhibit the exploration innovation,and then inhibit exploitative innovation.The meditative effect of technical capability on the relationship between repeated cooperation and the firm's exploitative innovation is not supported.But technical capability have a significant meditative effect on the relationship between repeated cooperation and the firm's exploratory innovation,With the improving of the technical ability,exploratory innovation with repeated cooperation degree change trend become more slowly,the curvature of the inverted u-shaped curve continues keep coming down.Environmental turbulence have a significant meditative effect on the relationship between repeated cooperation and the firm's ambidextrous innovation.With the continuous improvement of environmental turbulence,ambidextrous innovation with repeated cooperation degree change trend become more quickly,the curvature of the inverted u-shaped curve continues keep constantly increasing.This research has researched from the repeated cooperation relationship among the members,which enriched the research on the stability of the cooperation relationship among the members of the Collaboration R&D Network,provided a new research perspective for the research of the enterprise innovation network,and also provided some references for our high-tech manufacturing enterprises to select the R&D partners,build the R&D Network,manage the network relationship,maintain and enhance the innovation of Collaborative R&D Network.
