Farmers Vegetable Production Efficiency And Its Influence Factors In Fujian Province

Vegetables are indispensable to human subsistence and essential groceries for daily life.Fujian is located in China's southeast coast,with excellent climatic conditions and geographical advantages,is the second largest province of the national vegetable acreage.But the vegetable industry in Fujian Province are still many problems,like intensification is not high,equipment research and development lag,technology development is not balanced and so on.Based on the perspective of farmers,this paper measures and evaluates the current situation of vegetables' productivity in Fujian Province,recognizes the constraints of vegetables' productivity and the size and direction of its function,in order to explore the production decision-making mechanism of moso bamboo planting farmers.And further measures the productivity to seek rational factor allocation of productivity.On the other hand,by analyzing farmers'bamboo productivity and impact factors,it can examine the implementation effect of existing bamboo production policies,and provide improved direction and path for further improvement of relevant policies,which has a certain practical significance for the development of vegetable industry.Firstly,based on the review of foreign and domestic scholars research about the efficiency of production,summarize the inspiration and reference of the existing research to this paper.It describes the relevant theoretical basis of this study as production theory,efficiency theory and farmers behavior theory.Analysis of vegetable production characteristics and vegetable industry development status and problems,it believe that while in Fujian we have the resources and the environmental advantages of vegetable production but still appears low production efficiency and investment in resource utilization is not high in vegetable production.Vegetable production efficiency haven't show the advantage which match the environment advantage.Based on the above,the forth part it has positive analysis of vegetable production efficiency.First,choose the vegetable growers in Fujian Province as the research object,access to relevant data through questionnaires.On the evaluation of production efficiency using BCC model of data envelopment analysis(DEA),believe that the resource allocation capabilities and the efficient use of resources of vegetable farmers is not high as a whole.The fifth part is selected for farmers and household characteristics,vegetable production technology and conditions and institution and policy into three categories a total of 10 variables,using Tobit regression model to judge these 10 variables.Found that for farmers and household characteristics,the years of education of house holder and Vegetable growing income account for total household income have a significant impact on vegetable production efficiency.For vegetable production technology and conditions,whether to adopt greenhouse technology and the distance of vegetable cultivation and market have a significant impact on vegetable production efficiency.For institution and policy,whether to buy agricultural insurance and the times of participated in vegetable planting technical guidance and training have a significant impact on vegetable production efficiency.Finally,Part VI based on the result of positive analysis,it made some recommendations for improve production efficiency,like optimize the industrial layout strengthen infrastructure,cultivating new business entities to drive advanced features inputs,Strengthen market docking services and improve the logistics system,Increase industry common technology and key equipment research and development,Pay attention to the breeding of quality seed industry to promote scientific and technological innovation,Improve safety supervision mechanism to build emergency prevention and control system,Improve the rural social security system construction loan guarantees innovative ways an so on.
