Urban Public Bicycle Trip Characteristics And Its Influencing Factors

In the context of global urbanization and motorization,the problem of urban traffic,environment,health and other issues highlighted.As a new transportation,bike sharing has many benefits such as the increasing way of traveling,the decreasing of traffic jams,the decreasing of using petrol and it bring environment profit and healthy profit.Many countries have given strong support to bike sharing,the bike sharing be expanded and integrated into the public transportation system,make it an important part of daily travel patterns.Public bicycle rapid development around the world in recent years,Gradually becomes the focus of scholars.This paper takes xi 'an public bicycle as an example,Based on the xi'an public bicycle trip survey questionnaire.From the four aspects that public bicycle travel purpose,the strength of travel,travel time,cohesion and alternative to other modes of transport,adopt binomial Logistic regression model and multiple Logistic regression model,through SPSS to carry on the fitting.Combining qualitative analysis and quantitative calculation,discuss urban public bicycle travel characteristics and its influencing factors.Put forward some opinions and suggestions for the future public bicycle system development.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The main purpose of Public bicycle travel is commuting and exercise.Commuter travel is given priority with short trip,travel frequency is higher.The exercise travel is long-distance travel,and the frequency is lower.The closer the distance from the subway and bus station,the greater the probability of public bikes for commuting,indicates that the linkage between the public bicycle transfer effect,achieve the goal of the last mile.(2)Public bicycle travel is main for middle and short distance travel.The high frequency users are mostly middle and short distance travel,low-frequency users prefer long-distance travel.Users having a private car travel more often than not private cars.Indicate that cars can be replaced by public bicycle.(3)The highest percentage of public bicycle journeys in the morning rush hour.Users who have a driver's license and users with drove preference tended during morning and evening rush hour travel The public bicycle travel for shopping and entertainment are more likely to rush in the morning.The closer get to the bus stop,and the more the number of restaurants in your home zone,the more likely you are to travel during the evening rush hour.(4)The main process of using public bicycle,bus,subway and on foot in the transfer,achieved the goal to solve the problem of the last kilometer.The replacement rate of the car is only 5%.Main factors motivate users to use public bicycles to avoid traffic jams,suggests that public bicycles to their advantages such as light and quick has certain competitive relationship,on the motor transport residents to use public bicycles instead of motorized transportation,as to avoid the congestion of motor traffic way to travel(5)On the construction of public bicycle operating,Setting up public bike stations near bus stops and public buildings will help to connect with public transport and better solve the "last mile" problem.By lowering fees and expanding the distribution of rental points and improving operating services,we can pro mote the use of users.
