The Impact Of Resource Integration Capability On Performance Of New Ventures

New ventures have become an important driving force to promote economic growth,increase employment opportunities and enhance social stability,and become a hotspot in the field of entrepreneurship.At present,under the special economic background of our country,new ventures in China are faced with higher resource constraints,insufficient capacity and high failure rate.For this problem,it is an effective way to improve the ability of resource integration.This ability is formed in the process of development,which is a long-term ability,can make the enterprise adapt to the changes of environment,make the enterprise resources bring benefits and bring sustainable competitive advantage for enterprises.In addition,new ventures are established jointly by one or several sponsors,as the founder and entrepreneur of new ventures,their personality characteristics are closely related to the growth and development of enterprises,successful entrepreneurs are not necessarily a genius,but they must have some kind of proper characteristics.That is to say,the success of new ventures has a higher demand for the role of entrepreneur.In recent years,the research which about the relationship between the ability to integrate resources and new venture performance has attracted continuous attention,the relationship between resource integration capability and performance of new ventures have inconsistent conclusions.so under the background of economic transition in China,whether the ability of resource integration has effect on the innovation of enterprise performance,and whether the relationship between the two is effected by other contingency factors,is worth studying.Currently,there are researchs use entrepreneurial orientation,environment,organization and coordination mechanisms as moderating factors to explore the relationship between the two,but no research considers the entrepreneur of a new venture.the internal control personality as an important entrepreneur personality personality,which has an important impact on the growth and success of new ventures,entrepreneurs who have the personality tend to solve problems with plans,reducing the resistance of using the enterprise resource integration ability.the internal control personality play a key role between the relationship of ability to integrate resources and new venture performance.For the study of new enterprises,entrepreneurs' internal control personality can not be ignored.Therefore,this paper takes the new ventures in China as the research object,and studies the influence of the entrepreneur's internal control personality on the relationship between resource integration ability and new venture performance.This paper mainly adopts the empirical research,based on the resource based theory and enterprise competence theory.Through the review of relevant literature,the ability to integrate resources is divided into four dimensions,namely,resource identification ability,ability to obtain resources,resource allocation,resource utilization ability,which are used to study its effect on the performance of new venture.At the same time,the entrepreneur's internal control personality traits are used as moderator variables to study the moderating effect on the relationship of resource integration ability and new ventures performance.After comparising the relevant scale,this article has chosen those scales that were suitable for this paper.designing and modifying of the questionnaire both based on the scale.after obtaining data,using SPSS22.0 and AMOS21.0 to carry out validity analysis,correlation analysis and multivariate linear regression analysis of the data,the results showed that the data have high reliability and validity,and the hypotheses are verified.The empirical study finds that the various dimensions of resource integration capability has a positive effect on the performance of new venture,the moderating effect of entrepreneur's internal locus of control on the relationship between the capability of recognizing resource recognition,the capability of allocating resources?the capability of utilizing resource and new venture performance is verified,but the moderating effect on the relationship of resource acquisition ability and new venture performance have not been verified.The results of the research about resource integration capability and performance of new ventures have certain significance and innovation.on the one hand,previous researchs focused on the enterprise level and network level,this paper turns the perspective to the individual level,taking the entrepreneur's internal locus of control as a moderator,which enrichs the relationship of resource integration the ability and performance of new ventures,illustrates the impact of personal characteristics of the entrepreneur.On the other hand,the research results also have certain guiding value for entrepreneurs,enterprises need a certain process to integrate resources,through recognizing and obtaining the resources that related with strategic,through the allocation and utilization of resources building aresources system,which will continue to enhance the ability of resource integration in the process.In the process of utilizing the resources integration ability,the role of entrepreneurs can not be ignored,their personality characteristics will be reflected in the thinking,emotion and behavior,and affect the effectiveness of their entrepreneurship.Therefore,the entrepreneurs of new ventures should pay attention to their personal characteristics.
