Tourism industry is an important driving force of the tertiary industry.In recent years,the rapid development of tourism has attracted more and more employees into the tourism industry.Because of the particularity of the tourism industry,enterprises are basically in the operating state of the whole year.In order to maintain excellent enterprise performance,tourism enterprises generally adopt strong work boundary strategy and limit the flexibility of employees strictly during their working hours.It is difficult for employees to deal with non-working areas such as their families in the working field.In the long run,it leads to the exhaustion of emotional resources,which ultimately leads to psychological and behavioral withdrawal of employees.Because of the communication advantages and strong affinity,female employees are favored by most tourism enterprises.Because the conflict between their social role and family role is obvious,female employees are more representative in research.Thus triggering thinking:how does a strict working boundary affect female employees in the front line of the tourism business?Based on this,this study takes the work family boundary theory as the guidance,selects the first-line female employees in tourism industry as the research object,and introduces the variables of emotional exhaustion,to explore the influence mechanism of work boundary strength on work withdrawal behavior and the relationship between the three.The main body of this study is divided into three modules.In the first module,this study summarized the related literatures on work boundary strength,emotional exhaustion and job withdrawal behavior and write a literature review.Based on the previous research background,this paper puts forward the hypothetical model of this study,which lays the foundation for the subsequent empirical analysis.In the second module,we select female employees in tourism enterprises as the research objects,distribute questionnaires to them,collecte the questionnaires,Verify the validity of the scale,verify the effect of different control variables on the research variables,and explore the relationship between the three aspects of work boundary strength,emotional exhaustion and job withdrawal behavior.The third module,based on the results of empirical analysis,draws the conclusion of this research.From the perspective of management,it puts forward corresponding suggestions to managers of tourism enterprises in China,and analyzes the shortcomings of this research,and puts forward the prospect for future research.The data of this study come from the research of several enterprises.After the software analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Marital status,children,daily working hours,education level,working years and age were significantly related to work boundary strength,emotional exhaustion and job withdrawal behavior(psychological withdrawal and behavioral withdrawal).Among them,the female employees who are married and have childrens have stronger perception of the intensity of work boundary,the degree of emotional exhaustion and the behavior of job withdrawal is deeper than those who are unmarried and do not have childrens.The longer the employees' daily working hours,the more serious the work boundary strength perception,emotional exhaustion,and job withdrawal behavior.Female employees with higher educational background have better performance than those with less educational background on the observed variables.The older and longer working years are,the more obvious withdrawal behaviors are.(2)The intensity of work boundary has a positive predictive effect on the two dimensions of job withdrawal(psychological withdrawal and behavioral withdrawal),that is,the stronger the working boundary strength is,the more obvious the employees' psychological and behavioral withdrawal is.(3)There is a significant positive correlation between the work boundary strength and the emotional exhaustion,that is,the stronger the working boundary intensity is,the more serious the employee's emotional exhaustion is.(4)The effect of emotional exhaustion on psychological withdrawal and behavioral withdrawal is significant,the more serious the emotional exhaustion is,the more obvious the employees' psychological and behavioral withdrawal is.(5)Emotional exhaustion plays an intermediary role in the relationship between work boundary strength and psychological withdrawal and behavioral withdrawal,and it is partial intermediation.
