Research On The Difference Of Regional Economic Development Caused By Modern Service Industry Agglomeration In Fujian Province

With the rapid development of the global economy and the further refinement of the social division of labor,the development trend of the world economy has gradually shifted from an "industrial economy" to a "service economy".The service industry has become an important engine of national economic development and begins to play a an increasingly important role.The modern service industry is the core of the whole service industry and the main driving force to promote the economic prosperity of the country and region because of its high technology content and high added value,which developed degree has become an important measure of the modernization and the level of social development of a country or region.The modern service industry agglomeration is the best state that the modern service industry can achieve when it is highly concentrated in a region,Which highlights cost advantages,competitive advantages,and innovation advantages have becoming an important factor of influencing regional economic development.Fujian Province is located on the southeastern coast of China,the level of economic development has been improving continuously since the reform and opening up,but the economic development among regions is not balanced,the development and agglomeration level of modern service industry is still far behind that of other eastern coastal provinces.Therefore,it is very important to study the influence of modern service agglomeration level on regional economic development in Fujian Province.Firstly,based on the related theories of modern service industry agglomeration,the phenomenon of modern service industry and its agglomeration,the influencing factors of modern service industry agglomeration,the measurement of modern service agglomeration level,the relationship between modern service industry agglomeration and economic growth and the influencing factors of regional economic development differences are reviewed in this paper.Secondly,it summarizes and analyzes the influence mechanism of modern service industry agglomeration on regional economic growth,and analyzes the present situation of Fujian modern service industry agglomeration,and then chooses the location entropy index to measure the level of modern service industry agglomeration in Fujian Province.Thirdly,using the panel data of 2003-2016 years in various cities in Fujian Province to test the relationship between the level of modern service industry agglomeration and regional economic development empirically in Fujian Province,the result shows that the impact of modern service industry agglomeration on economic development is positive in Fujian province,and the impact of modern service industryagglomeration on regional economic development is different in different regions.Finally,based on the current situation of modern service industry agglomeration in Fujian Province,combined with the result of empirical test,this paper proposes some policy suggestions such as accelerating the development of modern service industry agglomeration in Fujian Province,establishing advantageous industrial agglomeration area,and strengthen the cooperation among cities,promoting the regional coordinated development of modern service industry in Fujian Province,and strengthen the innovation ability of modern service industry to improve the agglomeration strength of modern service industry.
