Research On The Impact Of The Science And Technology Service Industry On The Advanced Manufacturing Industry In Fujian Province

As a basic industry of national economy in Fujian province, the manufacturing industry has made a tremendous contribution to the economic growth. The industrial structure is in the ongoing change and adjustment in the process of economic development. With the "demographic dividend" disappearing gradually, labor costs rising, environment resources and social responsibility constraint strengthening, the development path of the manufacture industry which depends on the high strength energy consumption and low cost elements investment has already drifted away from the contemporary economic development trajectory. Therefore, to explore how to improve and promote the development of the advanced manufacturing industry is imminent.The science and technology service industry will be able to delivery some factors of production, just like technology capital, knowledge capital and human capital with hi-tech technology, to the advanced manufacturing industry. It provides support to enhance the efficiency and sustainable development of the advanced manufacturing industry in this way. At present, the science and technology service industry in Fujian province is not developed. Therefore it’s quite necessary to study the role which the science and technology service industry playing in the advanced manufacturing industry and put forward some enlightenment and suggestions about how to promote the development of the advanced manufacturing industry via the science and technology service industry.First of all, this paper reasonably defines the definitions and scopes of the science and technology service industry and the advanced manufacturing industry according to the status quo of the domestic and foreign related research. Secondly, it analyzes the present situation and existing problems about these two industries based on the detailed data of all kinds of yearbook, statistical bulletin and news platform etc. It shows that the advanced manufacturing industry in Fujian province develops well, but there is still a gap compared with the developed cities. The development of the science and technology service industry is still in the primary stage at the same time. Thirdly, this paper puts forward some relevant assumptions based on certain theoretical research. Fourthly, it determines each index variable, collects panel data, establishes super efficiency DEA model and panel data model and makes an empirical analysis in regional and industrial perspectives by Matlab software and EViews software. The results show that the science and technology service industry has a significant positive effect on the advanced manufacturing industry, but the degree of influence is weak. The directions of the different segments of the industry are not the same. The level of human capital, the organic composition of capital, the regional economic environment and other factors also affect the effectiveness of the science and technology service industry. Finally, it puts forward the corresponding management revelation and outlook for future research based on the results of the empirical analysis.
