Research On Application Of DFSS In D Company's Auto Parts R&D Project Quality Management

As the development of China,cars become more and more popular among Chinese people.Car production and sales have been both over 20 million since 2013 in China.The quality of automobile has become an issue of concern to ordinary people.Auto parts as cornerstone of the auto industry,the quality of auto parts has become a key factor that effects the quality of automobile at present.This paper based on extensive research on Six Sigma system documents and articles at home and abroad which reviews the history,core elements and tools of the Six Sigma theory and summarized the classical methods and development trends of Six Sigma in future.From the D company's development profile,development strategy,corporate culture,R&D project management status and so on,this paper demonstrated achievement of six sigma management in D company.This paper presented six sigma management which was applied to research and development project quality management of auto parts manufacturing enterprises.Based on the six sigma design management theory,the project quality management of automobile engine control module was put into practice.This paper discussed the application of six sigma design in the quality management optimization of R&D project.The main part of this paper based on the Six Sigma theory and method of R&D project management to improve the program.In D company,the process of DFSS is IDDOV of many standard procedures.Based tools and methodology of IDDOV,such as robust design or new processes to help engineers identify and define customer requirements.Through utilization of DFSS,the quality of concept design for new products was able to reach six sigma level.
