The Belt and Road policy is a new requirement for the development of the times and a new perspective on the integration of tourism resources along the Belt and Road and the promotion of development of tourism.This thesis applied the DEA model to calculate the tourism efficiency of provinces along the Belt and Road(B&R PT in abbreviation)and analyzed its space-time characteristics,efficiency classification and influencing factors.Based on this analysis,this thesis proposed optimized countermeasures are as follwos,cooperation among areas of the Belt and Road should be strengthened.On the other hand,B&R PT cooperation space pattern should be constructed,and macro-ledding of government should be applied.This thesis consists of seven chapters,of which chapters IV through VI are the focus of this thesis.The introduction consists of chapter I,chapterII,and chapter III.With the proposal and deepening of the Belt and Road policy driving the tourism boom among areas,the efficiency of B&R PT has also begun to attract the attention recently.Next part is the main part of this thesis,which is composed of Chapter IV and Chapter V.This thesis emploied quantitative analysis to verify the results of the rapid growth of B&R PT.This thesis applied the DEA-Malmquist model to calculate the B&R PT's comprehensive efficiency and its decomposition efficiency(technical efficiency,scale efficiency),and analyze its space-time characteristics and efficiency status.The results are as follows:1.From 2005 to 2015,the technical efficiency of B&R PT is a little bit high generally.Specigically,the provinces with technical efficiency of 0.80-1 accounted for 83.33%.However,and the number of provinces with effective comprehensive efficiency and scale efficiency was only 2.Nevertheless,comprehensive efficiency,technical efficiency,and scale efficiency are mostly between mid-high range.It is also found that there is as much as 24.8% of resources are wasted of B&R PT on average,so inputted resources could not be fully utilized.From the analysis of the relationship between comprehensive efficiency and decomposition efficiency,it can be concluded that scale efficiency has more significant effects on overall efficiency.2.From the spatial distribution point of view,Eastern> Central> Western on conprehensive efficiency;Eastern> Central> Western on technical efficiency;Central> Eastern> Western on scale efficiency are found.Comprehensive efficiency,technical efficiency,and scale efficiency have long been in hotspots in the southeast areas.From the perspective of agglomeration distribution characteristics,B&R PT's comprehensive efficiency and technical efficiency showed agglomeration distribution spatially in 2015,while scale efficiency showed an independent random distribution.3.As a whole,B&R PT's Total Factor Productivity and Technological Progress Index change similarly with volatility rises.Paticularlly,Technical Progress Index and Pure Technological Progress Index mainly affect the change of Total Factor Productivity;from the perspective of space,the number of hotspots of Total Factor Productivity is relatively small,mainly showing the trend from south to north.Then,the status of B&R PT efficiency is divided into ascending type and descending type,using the two dimensions of the degree of efficiency change and the magenitude og efficiency.Finally,chapter VI applied the Tobit model to analyze the influencing factors of B&R PT efficiency,and put forward the countermeasures for improvement.Chapter VII presents the conclusions,inadequacies and prospects of this thesis.
