| In the 40 years since the reform and opening up,China has made remarkable achievements in development.At present,China has become the second largest economy in the world,and the people’s happiness index has been continuously improved.At the same time,the internal and external environment of our country is more complex: the uncertainty of the world economy still exists,trade protectionism and isolationism stir up the process of globalization;the "three periods superposition" is still the main feature of China’s economic development.In this context,it is urgent to give full play to the resilience of China’s economic development,take supply side structural reform as the main line,explore new drivers of economic development,improve total factor productivity,and continuously enhance China’s innovation and competitiveness.With the mass concentration of production factors to tourism industry and the increasingly strengthening of tourism productivity,the impact of tourism production relations on people’s lives is more extensive and profound,and the positive role of optimizing industrial structure and improving quality and efficiency in tourism development,tourism is becoming an increasingly important new mode of production in China.Due to the massive agglomeration of production factors to tourism,the increasing strengthening of tourism productivity,the more extensive and profound impact of tourism production relations on people’s lives,and the positive role of optimizing industrial structure and improving quality and efficiency highlighted in tourism development,tourism is becoming an increasingly important new mode of production in our country.The city is the most important and active component of a country.The urban efficiency reflects the development ability of a city.The tourism development of a city is historically related to the urban efficiency.Therefore,this study takes the city as the starting point,based on the urban development,studies and analyzes the temporal and spatial characteristics of urban tourism and urban efficiency.Firstly,based on the same development factors of urban tourism and urban efficiency,as well as the influence of urban tourism on urban efficiency through the input and output factors of urban development,the cognitive and practical inertia of urban efficiency also plays a role in the development of urban tourism,and puts forward the hypothesis that there is a time related relationship between urban tourism and urban efficiency.At the same time,by analyzing the diversity of urban types and urban positioning,the second hypothesis is put forward,that is,there are spatial differences in the coordination of urban tourism and urban efficiency.Secondly,qualitative analysis is carried out.On the one hand,through the literature research,the relevant concepts are sorted out and the research progress at home and abroad is understood.On the other hand,the transformation of productivity and production relationship is studied,and the relationship between urban efficiency and urban tourism development is clarified.The above research improves the cognition of relevant concepts,and at the same time draws the conclusion that there is a historical relationship between urban tourismization and urban efficiency.Tourismization is a kind of production mode emerging in the post industrial society,which is manifested in the dynamic process that tourism gradually rises to the leading industry in the production field and becomes the indispensable content in the life field.It is an inevitable trend driven by the development of productivity and production relations.It is an effective mode of production that can be paralleled with industrialization at present.It plays a positive role in alleviating the accompanying problems in the development of industrialization,as well as in comprehensively improving people’s living standards,improving population quality and enhancing people’s happiness.Then,based on the principles of scientific rigor,logical rationality and practical operation,the urban tourismization index system and the urban efficiency index system have been optimized and rebuild.Using linear weight method and SBM-DEA method to calculate and analyze the tourismization index values and the urban efficiency index values of 268 sample cities in the year of 2007-2016.Using the cointegration model,the paper further demonstrates the long-term equilibrium relationship between tourism and urban efficiency in time dimension.In the spatial dimension,the four quadrant analysis model and cross combination method are used to classify cities into 16 types,and the characteristics of tourism development and urban efficiency are described according to the type differences,the corresponding development suggestions are given then.Finally,the whole research is summarized.The innovation of the study is summarized into three points: optimizing the index systems of urban tourismization and urban efficiency,taking urban development as the foothold to study urban tourismization and urban efficiency,and giving different development suggestions objectively and rationally according to the differences of urban types.From the perspective of tourism scholars,three points of view are put forward for discussion,which are: 1.Tourismization conforms to the necessity of history,but not the absolute dominance of tourism industry;2.Tourismizaion has both reverse representation and positive effect;3.Not all cities are suitable for promoting tourismization in an all-round way.In the end,from the perspective of cognitive mission,the limitations of the research have been summarized and the direction of future research has been expounded. |
