E-commerce has been developed rapidly in China,with the booming of many domestic e-commerce platforms,the markets and trading volumes are increasing fast and faster.However,behind the prosperity,many small&middle sized domestic sellers are enduring a lot:costs surging of marketing expenses and human resources,hard to recruit suitable employees,market glutted with similar products,wars of lower prices on and on,all leading to the result that sales cannot bring about profit to sellers,therefore small&middle sized sellers are facing living problems.YB company is one of the small&middle sized sellers in domestic e-commerce market.The main products are kitchenware and drinking-ware and related parts.YB company developed to more than ten stores in Ali.com and JD.com with a team of 20 employees.When in the first few years,the e-commerce market has good profit to share,YB company ignored inner management,therefore when e-commerce ended easy huge profits era entering 2.0 stage,they started to realize management problems are pushing the whole company to "commit suicide".When Amazon.com already executed lean management and makes it a trend that all e-commerce participants should get involved.Owner of YB company started to implement lean management to search and eliminate all wastes,improve procedures and find value stream.Lean improvement explored into team management,marketing,brand-building,inventory management,supply chain,enterprise atmosphere etc.And get some improvements.But lean improvement is not a short project,it needs long term explore for final success.Besides,the lean improvement exploration of YB company also shows a leading trying for all other similar small&middle sized c-commerce sellers.
