Research On Quality Management Of New Product Development Process In Company A

With intense competition in the marketing environment currently,enterprises are facing huge challenges on quality management.Several companies have increased the inspection requirements for products in order to enhance management in quality,reduce defective production,and improve customer satisfaction.However,solely depending on inspection and control of the production process cannot ameliorate the quality of products and cut down the customer returns.Most of product recalls due to design problems cannot be effectively decreased or avoided through the control of the production process since that these quality problems have already existed in the design phase.Therefore,effective quality management of innovative products is one of the most significant approaches to reduce the major quality issues and improve customer satisfaction.Based on the process of new product development,the study first introduced related theories of new product design and quality management.It also described the process of quality management in making new products,like the Stage Gate System.After analyzing the problems of company A in the process of developing new products,the author established two models on new quality management SI/SV(sample inspect/sample validation)and designed drafts to evaluate.Furthermore,applying quality management models would help enterprises solve problems of new product development,improve the quality of new products,and strengthen the ability of quality management.Finally,the research examined the effectiveness of new models in company A using data in a case,which could provide references for companies with similar issues and help them solve problems on quality management in developing process.
