Current Situation And Causes Of Rural Poverty In Wuwei And Its Countermeasure

Poverty is a global social phenomenon,which is the result of the combination of economic,social,political,cultural unbalanced and geographical differences in natural ecological conditions and human individual differences.The problem of poverty is a contemporary world issue,and poverty eradication is one of the most significant social problems faced by all developing countries.It is also a serious challenge facing the world and a major human problem that must be solved.Scholars at home and abroad have done a lot of research on poverty,and put forward a lot of related anti-poverty theory.Wuwei City is located in the northwest inland,subject to the conditions of natural environment and social development constraints,economic development is lagging behind,is currently in a big development,big transformation,large span of the historical stage,unprecedented opportunities for development,the challenges facing unprecedented.One of the most serious challenges is how to speed up the pace of poverty-stricken rural residents out of poverty,to ensure the completion of a well-off society with the country.Based on the above background,this paper expounded the present situation and characteristics of agricultural and rural development,analyzed the main causes of rural poverty from 2010 to 2016 in Wuwei City,and summarized the rural anti-poverty work on the basis of progress and effectiveness,targeted to put forward countermeasures and suggestions.Main conclusions can be drawn as follows:1.In recent years,agricultural and rural development of Wuwei City has achieved remarkable results.2016 to achieve the GDP of 46.173 billion yuan,agricultural added value reached 10.827 billion yuan,grain output 1.066 million tons,meat and egg yolk total output of 176,600 tons.Accumulated construction of agricultural and animal husbandry 90.8 million mu,168.45 million mu of fruit,the size of the farm 3334.In 2016,there were 1.1333 million rural residents,with per capita disposable income of 9784 yuan,an increase of 7.5%.2.Wuwei City have Gu Lang,Tianzhu two poor counties and Liangzhou,Minqin2 flower-type poverty-stricken counties,as of the end of 2016 a total of 322 poor villages,of which 115 poor villages,poor population of 258,400,mainly concentrated In the Qilian Mountains along the northern slope of the mountain area,Minqin along the sand area and Liangzhou District along the sand area.3.Rural poverty in Wuwei City shows that the poor population base is large,the poor rural basic conditions are poor,the county economy is weak,the collective economic base is weak,the poor population endogenous motivation and other characteristics,in the future anti-poverty work should focus on The following aspects:to strengthen the precision identification and dynamic management of poverty,strict implementation of seven anti-poverty initiatives,to promote the depth of poor villages out of poverty,the development of county economy to promote poverty,enhance self-development capacity,strict supervision and inspection and evaluation.
