Analyzing The Efficiency Of Utilizations Of Foreign Direct Investment In Beijing Based On DEA

As the capital of China,and the center of the international communications,Beijing is one of the largest cities in China for attracting foreign direct investment.From 2006 to 2014,using foreign capital of enterprises in the actual showed a trend of increasing year by year in Beijing according to foreign investment data.Beijing had attracted utilization of foreign direct investment from 4.552 billion in 2006 to 9.041 billion in 2014,the growth rate has achieved 6.1%.In 2015,the actual use of foreign direct investment is 13 billion,and has increased 43.8%.FDI is playing an important role in promoting economic development of Beijing,how to improve the utilization efficiency of absorbing FDI in Beijing has become an important issue for Beijing economic development.This paper analyzes the present situation of foreign direct investment in Beijing,and chooses "actual utilization of foreign capital by foreign–funded enterprises "," fixed asset investment by foreign-funded enterprises "," average number of employees of foreign-funded enterprises " and "research and development by foreign-funded enterprises " as input indicators,"operating income" and "profit" as the output indicators,utilizes data envelopment analysis(DEA)model to analyze FDI technical efficiency,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency from 2006 to 2015 in Beijing,and then detects the importance of each input variable,finally the paper brings up opinions for rational utilization of foreign investment for the future.
