A Research On Risk Management In Iran Refinery EPC Project On Start-up Period

In this paper,taking an Iran oil refinery EPC project as the research object,the risk factors of the whole life cycle of an Iran refinery EPC project are identified and evaluated based on the view of the general contractor and the start-up phase of the project,combined with Iran unique geopolitical environment.Also a complete response plan is established.The risk analysis process in this paper includes three phases,which are risk identification,risk evaluation and risk response and monitoring.In the risk identification part,the decomposed analysis method is used to decompose the main work of the whole life cycle of the project of this case.According to the decomposed analysis results,a risk list is established by the DELPHI method of risk identification and definition.In the risk assessment part,the fuzzy analysis and the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)are used,from three aspects of the correlation,the severity and the occurrence probability,to carry on the appraisal and the sorting to the risk in the list.In the risk response part,according to the results of the risk ranking,combining the characteristics of the project in the start-up phase,the risk response plan is established and the implementation of the program and the risk monitoring recommendations are proposed.In addition,in order to ensure the reliability of the data,combining the large database of risk management,especially domestic and foreign institutions of project risk management the thesis collects the latest progress of the project risk monument,and absorbs the latest achievements in research.Through literature research and other means,the level and quality of this paper are ensured.This paper considers that in the start-up phase of the project the risk management of the whole life cycle of the project should be planed,the specific solutions should be formulated.In this paper the risk management of above is researched which could provide the reference and experience for the risk management planning for the engineering company that participate in Iran project construction.
