Study On The Risk Of Cultivated Land Security In Case Of Using Potato As Staple Food

The strategy of potato staple food is proposed by Ministry of Agriculture in response to the current grain security problem in China.Although grain production has continued to rise,but the contradiction between large population and food supply is prominent day by day,and food security remains hidden.The proposed potato staple food can not only provide more guarantee for our country's grain security,but also can alleviate the resource environment pressure,improve the people's dietary structure,and help the impoverished area to get out of poverty.Study on the potato of staple food to the security risks of cultivated land is of great significance.In this paper,the influence of the potato staple food on the farmland safety is analyzed based on the large data technology.The main conclusions are as follows:1.Main producing areas of potato are distributed in low yield farmland,including Inner Mongolia Plateau and the Loess Plateau,Yun-Gui Plateau,which arehigh altitude,dry and cold climate,low rainfall.2.Potato of staple food has great development potential.By 2020,potato planting area will be 637.86×10~4hm~2,yield will reach 18.19 t/hm~2,production will be reach11602.67-28518.72×10~4t,per capita consumption will amount for 53.12 kg/people,total consumption will be up to 11686.68×10~4t,processing capacity will reach1152.11×10~4t,imports of exports volume will reach 27123.12 ten thousand dollars,$39761.52 ten thousand dollars,Imports and exports quantity will be 26.64×10~4t,16.05×10~4t.3.Based on cultivated land requisition-compensation balance and goal of the staple food of potato,low yield cropland increase 0.56%;From the angle of future food needs,by 2020,low yield cropland increase 3.74%.Study results showed that the increased ratio of low yield cropland is smaller,the cultivated land security is less impacted by development of the staple food of potato in China.However,with promoting of the potato staple,which impact on the cultivated land security should not be overlooked.The study on the risk of cultivated land security by the staple food of potato is to provide an important reference for the development of grain security Strategy,the adjustment of agricultural structure and the implementation of the strategy of potato staple foods in China.
