The ministry of agriculture put forward the strategy of potato staple in January 2015,which increase the cultivation of potatoes to make up for the lack of traditional grain production.To ensure China's food security and achieve the purpose of self-sufficiency in China.Based on this,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the potato grain staple food from the perspective of food security.The paper studies the problem of potato staple from perspective food security.Firstly,The article elaborate the background of potato grain staple,and briefly explain the research ideas.Secondly,the research literatures sort out from three aspects:food security,potato industry and the effect of potato grain staple food on food security.Thirdly,the article analyzes potato grain staple in China.Finally,from tthe grain production,grain consumption and food security risk to study the transfer mechanism of potato grain staple food.The correlation coefficient between the two is measured by gray correlation degree was more than 0.6.In addition,the study also conclud that potato staple food has a positive effect on food safety.This paper mainly uses the regional advantages theory,gray correlation and equilibrium model empirical methods respectively to analyze the dominant provinces,correlation China's grain staple food between food security and China's potato food staple the influencing factors.Through the analysis of the article,potato planting have the advantages of comprehensive regional and resource.The potato grain staple food has a positive effect on food security.However,it has the obstacles of consumption habit,storage and transportation,grain staple technology.in order to solve this obstacles,the article finally put forward the policy recommendations.
