The Research On The Influence Of Chongqing Urban Residents' Information Consumption On Industrial Structure

With the rapid development of information technology in the world,the information industry has shown explosive growth,and a large number of new products,new formats and new services have been created,which make the residents demand of the information consumption is continuously increased and become the world's three largest economic consumption hot spots.Therefore,the information consumption has become the he future development priority in the country.Chongqing,as the only municipality directly under the Central Government in western region,reached 24 billion Yuan of information consumption scale in 2014,and has become China's first cross-border e-commerce and information consumption pilot cities.However,Chongqing as the country's old industrial base is facing severe pressure of industrial restructuring and upgrading.But market demand decides the change of industrial structure,and consumer demand is the most important part of market demand in promoting the economic growth of the three carriages.Information consumption has more and more influence on the Chongqing residents' consumption as an important part of new consumption.What effect does it have on the adjustment of industrial structure in Chongqing,and if it can promote the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure,which has become an urgent research topic.Therefore,according to the existing research results and the theory of information consumption,this paper will use three methods: statistical analysis,econometric analysis and industrial economic analysis,and make the advanced industrial structure as the index of industrial upgrading and transformation.Firstly,the paper analyzes the development trend of urban residents' information consumption and industrial structure in Chongqing city from 1999 to 2015,Then the changing trend of information consumption coefficient and tendency will be analyzed with the method of information consumption coefficient,and the industrial structure advanced rate will be introduced to measure the transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure in Chongqing.Second,using co-integration analysis to verify whether there is a long-term equilibrium relationship between the two variables.Finally,the impact of residents' information consumption on the industrial sectors will be explored from the perspective of the three industry and the 42 industry sectors by using the input-output theory.The results show that the scale of information consumption of Chongqing urban residents and the industrial structure advanced rate are all increasing in recent years,and there is a long-term positive equilibrium relationship between them.The development of urban residents' information consumption can effectively promote the development of the third industry and strategic emerging industries in Chongqing,which can promote the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure.Furthermore,the concept of information consumption and reviews the characteristics of information consumption under the background of the new era also are extended in this paper.Finally,based on the findings,this paper proposes some policy recommendations about how to develop information consumption and realize the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure in Chongqing.So,the research of this problem contains not only theoretical meaning but also practical meaning.
