With the development of modern intelligent society, the decision-making environment is becoming more and more complicated. In addition,as a result of the lack of knowledge and experience, the evaluation of decision-makers includes uncertainty. Therefore,How to use reasonable language to evaluate information and choose appropriate decision-making methods becomes a hot topic of research in the decision-making field. In terms of the representation of linguistic evaluation information, intuitionistic fuzzy linguistic variables,interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy linguistic variables and probabilistic linguistic term set provide improve the representation of assessments.Hence, the research content is to study the construction and application of decision models based on the above linguistic sets.Regarding entropy as the breakthrough point, the intuitionistic fuzzy interval-valued linguistic entropy measure is proposed. Then the intuitionistic fuzzy interval-valued linguistic entropy combined weighted averaging operator is presented and is applied to a case study of the talent selection.Subsequently, based on the research of the structural characteristics of the interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy linguistic information, the interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy linguistic principal component analysis applied to emergency decision is constructed to improve the performance of the traditional TODIM method. In addition, inspired by the probability theory,a visual comparison algorithm and the similarity measure are constructed based on the structural characteristics of the probabilistic linguistic term set. Finally,a novel TOPSIS method based on probabilistic linguistic term set is applied to the selection of public opinion system.
