Low formaldehyde flame retardant system developed by us can be applied to produce fire-retardant Pure cotton fabric.The paper focuses on the fire-retardant properties,strengthen property of the textile treated by the low formaldehyde flame retardant system,and the improvements of the low formaldehyde flame retardant system producing technics for the better application on textile.Its main purpose is to find out the best content of the low formaldehyde flame retardant system for textile and take effective measures to improve other properties of textile.Through experiments,optimized technics of fire-retardant and the low formaldehyde flame retardant system producing technics will be found as well as the advantage and disadvantage of the low formaldehyde flame retardant system compared with other main fire retardant in the market.It is shown that:1.Flame retardant formulation:Flame retardants 350 g/L,crosslinking-agent 50 g/L,softener 3 g/L,pH=5-6,Temperature 180?,3min2.By adding the FS-417 flame retardant effect can be better3.The fire-retardant of treated is obvious,the LOI is 33%,the lengthen loss is 4.6cm and Formaldehyde content is 217 ppm,the strengthen loss is lower than the other low formaldehyde flame retardant system.Meeting the requirements of B1 National standard.4.Through the contrast,the low formaldehyde flame retardant system is not inferior to other low formaldehyde flame retardant system in turns of property to stopping fire,improve the tear performance.the low formaldehyde flame retardant system has a prospective future in market for its low cost and simple producing process.
