Polymer materials are widely used in various aspects of industry and everyday life.However,due to high surface resistivity,polymer materials are easy to produce static electricity accumulation,and frequently cause static threats,fire and explosion hazard.Therefore,it is necessary to add antistatic agents to eliminate static electricity in the production and using of polymer materials.In this paper,dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate(DMAEMA)was quaternized by bromoethane,benzyl chloride,dimethyl sulfate and n-bromobutane.NMR was used to analysis the structure of quaternary ammonium salts,and the quaternary ammonium salts were polymerized with general monomers or UV curing oil to form the permanent antistatic materials.Then,changes on the surface resistivity of antistatic material with the addition of quaternary ammonium salts,high temperature resistance of antistatic agent and water resistance of antistatic materials were studied.The results showed that the surface resistance of the material declined with the increase of quaternary ammonium salts,and the antistatic effect was obvious when quaternary ammonium salt was around 15%.The antistatic materials can be maintained stably within 200?,and quaternary ammonium salt of sulfuric acid dimethyl can be maintained stably within 320?.The antistatic materials possessed good water resistance,and antistatic property didn't change with humidity.MAEB antistatic agent played the best effect if reaction yield,cost,stability,environmental protection,transparency and adhesion were considered.Secondly,tertiary amines was synthetized from the reaction of HDD A and three secondary amines.With reaction of diethanolamine and HDDA as example,the influence of solvent,temperature,material ratio and polymerization inhibitor were studied.The highest conversion rate was 82.2%,and the optimal synthetic conditions were as follows:n(HDDA):n(diethanolamine)=2:1,solvent was ethanol,the reaction temperature was 20? and reaction time was 7 h.Following,NMR was used to analysis the structure of products.Furthermore,the above addition products were quaternized by bromoethane,dimethyl sulfate and benzyl chloride.Then,the quaternary ammonium salts were polymerized with UV curing oil.Changes on the surface resistivity of antistatic material with the addition of quaternary ammonium salts,high temperature resistance of antistatic agent and water resistance of antistatic materials were studied.The results showed that the antistatic had significant antistatic effect when quaternary ammonium salt was around 15%.The antistatic materials can be maintained stably within 160? and had good water resistance.Benzyl chloride was the best quaternizing agent if reaction yield,environmental protection,cost,transparency and adhesion were considered.
