Soft polyvinyl chloride(PVC)composite material is a PVC product added with more than 30phr plasticizer.The product has the characteristics similar to that of elastomer and which can be widely used in coal,petrochemical and other industries.However,the soft PVC volume resistance composite material(RV)and surface resistance(Rs)up to 1013?1017 ?,with good insulation performance at the same time,also due to accumulation of static electricity and cause an explosion accident,so the requirement of modified antistatic performance of the material is also increasing.In this paper,the effects of plasticizer,antistatic agent and additives on the electrical properties,mechanical properties and microstructure of soft PVC composites were studied systematically by means of the preparation of PVC composites.The main contents are as follows:Soft PVC with different DOP content was prepared by blending modification,theexperimental results show that with the increase of DOP content from 30 to 80 copies,the RV and Rs of the composites increased,the antistatic properties of the composites decreased.Soft PVC with different antistatic agents content was prepared by blending modification,the experimental results show that with the increase of antistatic agent SAS93 or SN,the RV and Rs of the composites decrease from 1011? to 107?108?,the shore A hardness and tensile properties change little.Soft PVC with different carbon black was prepared by blending modification,the experimental results show that with the increase of carbon content,the maximum torque,balance torque was increased,tensile strength,shore A hardness gradually was increased,the RV and Rs of the composites decrease from 1011 ? to 103?106?.CB T6601 has the best antistatic effect in the four kinds of carbon black,the RV and Rs of the composites mutations occurred at 20 copies,20 copies was the percolation threshold of CB T6601.Scanning electron microscopy shows that the carbon black in the composite was uniformly distributed with the form of aggregates in good antistatic properties PVC and formed a good conductive pathway.Soft PVC with different chlorinated polyethylene(CPE)content was prepared byblending modification,the experimental results show that with the increase of CPE5236,shore A hardness,tensile strength and breaking elongation of composites gradually increased,the maximum torque and torque balance to rise gradually,the Rv and Rs of the composites increased first and then decreased with large change.Soft PVC with different nanometer calcium carbonate(NCC)content was prepared by blending modification,the experimental results show that with the increase of NCC content,the tensile strength of composites decreased,the elongation decreased gradually decreased,the maximum torque,torque balance basically unchanged,the Rv and Rs of the composites fluctuates between 104? to 106 ? with little change.Through the orthogonal test of 34 matrix,it is concluded that the optimal scheme of PVC/DOP/CB/CPE/NCC is 100/50/20/32/30.Through the verification of the optimal scheme of the orthogonal test,a soft antistatic PVC composite material was prepared with a surface resistivity of 5.6×107? and a volume resistivity of 3.4×105 Q.m.The results of scanning electron microscopy showed that the antistatic agent had a grape-like network structure in the polymer,this means that an excellent conductive network structure has been formed inside the composite,which was the main reason for the good antistatic property.
