In recent years,our country's economy has been developing rapidly,and the urban population is still increasing.This situation causes the increase of garbage,so the solution of garbage disposal is becoming more important.Therefore,it is necessary to improve the efficiency of garbage disposal,one of the ways is to improve the efficiency of garbage transportation,which requires improving our capability of developing and manufacturing advanced garbage trucks independently.The hook-load garbage truck is a new garbage truck type which is imported from other countries and widely applied by now.The biggest feature of hook-load garbage truck is that it can greatly improve the efficiency of garbage transportation.But the hook-load garbage trucks made in our country have the worse stability and shorter life than the products of developed countries.So it is of great significance to carry out the analysis and study of the hook-load garbage truck,and this will help our country improve the ability of research and production.The hook-loader device on hook-load garbage truck is the object of this paper.Firstly,the structure and working principle of hook-load garbage truck and hook-loader device were introduced,and the three-dimensional models of simple vehicle girders and hook-loader device were build by CATIA V5 software.Then,the model of hook-loader device were imported into ADAMS,and its two working ways-loading and self-tipping,were simulated by the software.The force of each pin at each hinge position on the device was calculated.Then based on the results from ADAMS,the finite element models of simple vehicle girders and hook-loader device were build by ANSYS Workbench,the two conditions of loading and self-tipping were analyzed by static structural analysis.The stress distribution of device was obtained,and based on this,the stress concentration places on basic frame and tip arm were structural optimized,and the layout of mounting plates between hook-loader and girders was also optimized.The optimized models were analyzed again under the same constraint conditions.The analysis results show that the optimized models were no longer exist stress concentration phenomenon,and the structure was more reasonable,at the same time,the stress of hook-loader device and vehicle girders has been reduced.The co-simulation of ADAMS and ANSYS Workbench was used in this paper,the hook-loader device on hook-load garbage truck was optimized and the structure of hook-loader device was optimized,the performance of hook-load garbage truck was improved,the certain reference for the design and research of hook-load garbage truck was provided.
