Research On Inspection Method And Equipment For Raw Silk Size Based On Indirect Measurement

Raw silk is a kind of important material in silk industry.The quality of raw silk greatly influenced the processing procedures and following products in silk industry.Raw silk size inspection is core part in quality inspection of raw silk,and its results will affect the raw silk quality grade directly.The traditional size inspection is weighing the samples directly,which is complex,low efficiency and has to spend lots of labour and times in inspection.So the research has stronger application value in improving the efficiency and accuracy of inspection and reducing the workload.This paper proposed a method of measure the raw silk size indirectly.The raw silk size can be inspected by calculating the difference of spindle's weight — weighed before and after the process of gathering the raw silk samples.Then a raw silk size inspection equipment,a inspecting plan and a information management system was designed to complete the whole inspection process based on inspecting raw silk size indirectly.The new equipment has the capabilities of gathering the samples,weighting and detecting the broken silk.Rounds can be counted more precisely by salve motor.The single chip can coordinate all parts of the equipment working follow the process.A bus network can be made by multiple equipments and a computer,which can make equipments located easily in worksite.The inspection data are gathered and uploaded to the information management system from located equipments,so the operator can use the information management system to create and manage inspection report more easily.According to the different inspection method between the traditional method and the method proposed in this paper,the relevant indexes of the "total size" and "size amounts" are calculated according to the national standard.After inspecting the same batch of raw silk many times and analyzing the all collected data,the raw silk size inspection equipment we developed and the method for inspecting raw silk size we proposed are proved effectively.
