With the development of society,the organizational form of modern manufacturing industries having been evolved continuously,and the level of competition has also expanded.The supply chain system has gradually become an important area of competition among enterprises.Currently,for companies based on manufacturing,continuous optimization and improvement of supply chain management,especially supplier management,has become an important management content to strengthen corporate competitiveness.The business main scope of R company is in the field of biomedicine.The manufacture and sales of agricultural chemicals is the core business of the company.R company has maintained continuous high-speed growth over the past ten years and is one of the leading companies in this industry.Its raw material procurement and major production bases are all located in mainland China.This article analyzed R company's current supplier evaluation system and finds that the main problem is in the lack of deep understanding of its own needs.There is no scientific argumentation from the setting of evaluation indicators to the selection of evaluation methods.Therefore,the response to the rapidly changing supply market is lagging behind,the assessment results cannot provide reliable basis for the decision-making of supplier management and supply chain constriction.It caused a lot of problems in the company's operation and the competitiveness was thus reduced.Through the above analysis,combined with the existing research results of the supplier evaluation system,according to the company's business needs and supplier characteristics,using the combination of analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive judgment,we established a new supplier evaluation system for R company.We also take a key material as the example to conduct an empirical study,the evaluation results reflected that both the comprehensive and individual capabilities of the suppliers are identified well by the new supplier assessment system.Both the system itself and SCM are been improved.At the end of the paper,the research results are summarized and prospected to find out the improvement of research conclusions and provide the basis for further research.Because of the resemblance of the external environment,the problems and dilemmas faced by R company are pretty universally in China.Therefore,the results of this study also have certain reference significance for other enterprises and organizations in a similar environment.
